Common questions

Why does onboarding download models?

Stenox prepares Parakeet and Gemma before your first recording so the default experience works locally.

Can I use a cloud provider?

Yes. Add your own API key for a supported provider. Any provider charges are separate from Stenox.

Do I need a license key?

No. Stenox has no licensing or paid feature gates.
