Common questions
Why does onboarding download models?
Stenox prepares Parakeet and Gemma before your first recording so the default experience works locally.
Can I use a cloud provider?
Yes. Add your own API key for a supported provider. Any provider charges are separate from Stenox.
Do I need a license key for this download?
Stenox has a seven-day full-app trial, started explicitly online in the app with no account or card. A license is required for new work after that trial. Valid earlier paid licenses cover Stenox with their original rights and device allowance. You can keep using an installed free V1 release without a new purchase.
